What is Somatic Experiencing?

Somatic Experiencing is a body-centered approach that supports your natural capacity to settle, restore, and feel more connected to yourself. This method focuses on the nervous system and the way your body responds to stress, overwhelm, or long-held tension. Sessions create space for noticing sensation, slowing down, and reconnecting with internal cues so you can move through life with more clarity and ease.

My approach integrates Somatic Experiencing International training at the Beginner Level with my background in ecotherapy, yoga, and culturally rooted embodiment work. As a Black queer woman and first-generation healer, I center identity, lineage, lived experience, and nervous system education in a way that is accessible and grounded.

These sessions are not a replacement for therapy or medical care. They serve as supplemental, body-based support that can enhance the work you are already doing for your wellbeing.

Who is it for?

People often seek this work when they want to understand their nervous system or reconnect with their body.

This support is helpful for:

My work is especially supportive for Black women, queer folx, caregivers, first-generation professionals, and anyone holding layered identities or cultural pressures.

What You Can Expect in a Session

Somatic Experiencing sessions are slow-paced, collaborative, and rooted in your capacity for the day.

Together we explore:

• internal sensations or edges of tension
• breath and grounding practices
• where the body wants more space or softness
• cycles of activation and return
• gentle movement
• the experience of rest, ease, or curiosity
• how your body communicates boundaries or needs

You are not required to retell difficult memories. Your body leads the pace. You choose what feels right to explore.

Session Offerings

One-Hour Reset Session - $80

Short, accessible, and grounding. A space to reconnect with your body and learn the basics of nervous system awareness.

Two-Hour Deepening Session - $160

More spacious exploration of patterns, sensations, emotional energy, and internal pacing.

Three-Hour Immersion Session -$240

Extended time for deeper embodiment, movement, ritual, somatic unwinding, and integration.

Sessions are available virtually, in person, or in a hybrid format.
